NON-EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE
CCPA provides Non-Emergency medical transportation within the Midwest region. Non-emergency transportation may be provided using Advanced Life Support vehicles and crews if special or advanced services are required or may be provided by Basic Life Support crews if appropriate. Please contact the dispatch center at 573-335-3306 to make a reservation or request Non-emergency Services. The dispatcher will determine the level of service necessary and provide an estimate for the cost of the trip. Certain rules apply for coverage for non-emergency transportation by Medicare and Medicaid, CCPA will try to the best of its ability to determine before the trip is made whether it may be covered by these agencies. Generally speaking, the patient will be asked to be responsible for charges incurred for non-emergency transportation.
